Case10 At a hotel ordering room service ルームサービスを頼む

めざまし英会話10回目はAt a hotel ordering room service（ルームサービスを頼む）です。海外に行ったらその土地の美味しいものを味わいたいものですが、運悪くお店が閉まっていたり、仕事でホテルに缶詰なんていう時にルームサービスはとても便利ですよね。電話は相手の顔が見えないので少し怖い気もしますが、特に冒頭の2つのフレーズを覚えて使ってみて下さいね☆

今回も曲の最初はリスニングモード、後半はフレーズの後にbeep音＋空白がありますので、繰り返し声に出してリピートしてみましょう～。

【You】Hello! I’m calling from room no. 405.

　　I’d like to order dinner in my room.

【Clerk】Sure. What would you like to have?

【Y】 Could you send me a vegetable soup, a clubhouse sandwich and some pickles on the side?

【C】Alright, Is there anything you’d like to drink?

【Y】Do you serve beer in the room?

【C】I’m afraid not.

　　Alcoholic drinks are served only at the hotel bar.

【Y】 That’s not a problem.

　　 I’ll just have a coke instead.

　　How long would that be?

【C】 It’ll take about 30 minutes.

【Y】That’ll be fine. Thank you.
